Panton Lounge
The first Panton One chair was introduced in 1955 and marked the beginning of Verner Panton’s remarkable design legacy. Originally created for a restaurant in Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens, where it was known as the Tivoli Chair, it was Panton’s very first chair design.
Over time, the collection has expanded to include counter, bar, and lounge versions, each maintaining the chair’s distinctive character and comfort. Available in a wide range of colours, the Panton One reflects Panton’s belief that colour is integral to comfort. As he famously said, “You sit more comfortably on colours you like …”
